When I think back to the wedding of Stephanie and Michael, one word continues to pop into my head:
Coming from a small family, I've never really experienced the perks of being around a larger family unit, one that supports you and loves you no matter how annoying or frustrating you are. A love that is eternal, bound my blood, and is only ever an arm's length away.
Stephanie and Michael's family have been showering them with love and support from the moment they started dating. They have been there for them through happiness, through heart-ache and through tragedy. Michael's brothers and sister have supported him through thick and thin. Stephanie's sister and father are her foundation. And both their mums, well...they are the loves of their life which made it only fitting for the two to marry on a day that celebrated just that - Mother's Day.
I teared up multiple times during Stephanie and Michael's wedding. There was something about the way they looked at the each other, the way their family spoke about them and just the general vibe of everyone in the room that made me feel so happy and so emotional all at once. It was real, it was true and it wasn't hidden behind thousands of dollars of wedding expenses. It was a day celebrating Stephanie and Michael and the love they had for each other and for the family around them. I can't think of a more perfect day xx
